A community venue at the heart of Leytonstone is fundraising for its survival as a result of disruption from COVID-19.
Patchworks opened in the Autumn of 2021, and has since hosted a range of events for all the Leytonstone community including baby cabaret, weekly campfire sing alongs and vintage market, attracting thousands of local residents.
However, COVID and the Omicron variant meant Patchworks lost a huge proportion of its income over the festive season of 2021 through cancelled bookings and events.
Patchworks was set up by a local business man, and run by volunteers who now find themselves fundraising to clear thousands of pounds worth of debt to ensure its future survival and fund future improvements to keep the venue alive.
