Environmentally friendly bikes made of bamboo

A bicycle club in North East London teaches its members how to assemble their own environmentally friendly bikes made of bamboo.

Once upon a time (back in 2012) an engineer and passionate cyclist called James Marr had an idea.

It was simple and genius at the same time. Why not make sustainable bicycles out of bamboo and teach others how to make them?

Now, more than ten years later at the Bamboo Bicycle Club, Marr not only teaches his clients how to assemble their bikes here in London, but also sends his bike kits to far away lands such as Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, New Zealand, Columbia, Chile and many more.
