UK music giants Arctic Monkeys have just announced their 2023 UK & Ireland tour.
The emblematic four piece will be embarking on a nationwide tour in support of their forthcoming seventh studio album The Car, which will be released on 21 October 2022.
Alex Turner and company will be bringing their powerful riffs, captivating stage presence and atmoshperic tunes to some of the biggest stadiums and arenas in England, with dates for Swansea, Glasgow and Dublin also being announced.
In London, they will be playing at the 60,260 capacity Emirates Stadium on Friday 16 June 2023 and Saturday 17 June 2023.
This is certainly a testament to the ambitions and evolution of the Sheffield natives who exploded onto the scene with their iconic debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not in 2007.
Since then, they have released a plethora of critically acclaimed projects such as Favourite Worst Nightmare, AM and Suck It and See.
They have also received seven Brit Awards and a Mercury Prize for their debut album which also became the best selling debut album in UK chart history.
In addition to the Arctic Monkeys, ticket holders will also get to hear The Hives and The Mysterines who will be supporting them throughout.
This will be Arctic Monkeys’ first tour since their 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino tour, which saw them play The O2 Arena in North Greenwich.
The band also released a live album of their spectacular performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2018 to critical acclaim and to rave reviews from their loyal followers.
Tickets will be going on sale at 9am on Friday 30 September while the fan pre-sale will begin on Thursday 29th September for those who have already pre-ordered The Car.
